Registration List, Start Lists and Results

Registration lists, start lists and restuls will be posted by Superior Timing when available. We expect the start list for Saturday to be posted about 7:30 p.m EST on Friday.

A full weekend of racing features the SuperTour and a Super Junior Olympics Qualifier for both Great Lakes and Midwest. Separate categories for seniors, masters and citizen racers, and separate categories and distances for high school, middle school and youth.

Friday, January 28 - 3 p.m. Sprint Prologue (qualifying times only - no subsequent heats)

Saturday, January 29 - Classic 5k/10k interval start (shorter distances for middle school and youth). Saturday's schedule includes adaptive races.

Sunday, January 30 - Freestyle 10k/15k mass start (shorter distances for high school and younger)

All races are at the Michigan Tech Nordic Training Center, host of the 2006 Junior Olympics and the 2007 and 2008 U.S. National Championships. Course maps are available.

Note to the public: The main Tech trailhead and the trails used for the races will be closed from Thursday night, Jan. 27, though the end of the races on Sunday. Trails closed include all of the loops that eminate from Core. The Nara trailhead will be open along with the Nara and lower trails up to Skidder (which will be closed). The softball field access point will be open, as well Isle Royale and Superior Loops. The Pilgrim trails will also be open.


Interval start races: All USSA/FIS licensed athletes will be seeded by current points ranking in groups of 20. Random seed within groups. Non-licensed athletes follow randomly in categories.

Mass start races: Arrow start. All licensed athletes seeded by current points ranking, followed by no- licensed athletes.

Entry fees: $40-1 race, $65- 2 or 3 races; JOQ $35 - 1 race, $45 2 or 3 races; High School 5k and 3k skiers $12/race or $20 for two; Adaptive $5/race; Youth $5/race

Last day for all registrations to be received: Midnight, Tuesday, January 25, 2011.
